Climate-Adaptive Wildfire Risk Modeling for Electrical Grid Safety Planning

  • The B. John Garrick Institute for the Risk Sciences 420 Westwood Plaza Los Angeles, CA, 90095 (map)

Our next Spring seminar will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 1:00pm PT in Engineering 6 Rm 580B. Alexandre Guinand, a PhD Student in Civil and Environmental Engineering, will present “Climate-Adaptive Wildfire Risk Modeling for Electrical Grid Safety Planning.”

The seminar will examine emerging approaches to wildfire risk modeling for long-term electrical grid safety planning, with an emphasis on integrating climate projections, wildfire simulation models, and probabilistic risk assessment frameworks. For more information, please see the flyer attached.
