ABSTRACT: This study introduces a new site-to-site correlation methodology that leverages an expanded California ground motion database to address these limitations. We propose a spatial correlation framework that uses site-to-site correlation of within-event residuals from multiple events to obtain spatial correlation parameters within grid cells or subregions, enabling more robust and generalizable estimates.
