Dr. Tingting Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in human-system interaction safety and human reliability in autonomous systems. She has extensive experience on operational experiment of human-autonomy collaboration, and risk-based decision modeling for maritime transportation systems.
Dr. Cheng was formerly a visiting Ph.D. student at the Department of Marine Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), working on experiment of human performance in autonomous ships. Her current research is dedicated to advanced HRA methods and human-system interaction safety for the digitalized nuclear control rooms and automated vehicles.
